Sophia (or to her friends in and out of the salon; Sophie) is the joint owner of Salon 62 along with her mum and business partner Kathy.
Sophia enjoys working with fine hair, especially as her own hair is super fine and feels that every strand is sacred so, she knows how to deal with it, respect it and care for it.
Sophia was trained at John Olivers and qualified in 1997. After three years working on the salon floor gaining knowledge, she decided to leave John Olivers and work aboard cruise ships. Whilst on the cruise ships, Sophia was taught by Queen Elizabeth II’s hairstylist to specialise in hair ups and beautiful, bouncy blow dries. Hairdressing isn't just her job, it’s her happy place and she takes much pride in her work, which she believes is invaluable and important!

Working at Salon 62 with such a lovely team makes it so easy to come to work and Sophia absolutely loves it.
